CPOC commissioned by HEE to develop Perioperative Care Curricula

We are delighted to announce that the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC) has been commissioned by Health Education England (HEE) to develop the multidisciplinary curricula for perioperative care.

The curriculum for both doctors and allied health professionals will be drafted over an 18 month period with experts from across the perioperative pathway.

CPOC will be convening a multispeciality and transprofessional working group to lead this work in the autumn. 

CPOC Director Dr David Selwyn said:

This represents a major step in co-producing a modern, agile, skilled transprofessional workforce to help drive the transformational change required to deliver perioperative care pathways."
