Guideline for the Management of Anaemia in the Perioperative Pathway
The Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC) have brought together a multidisciplinary working group with professionals from across the perioperative pathway to draft the first full guideline for the management of anaemia from referral to recovery in the community.
The guideline includes recommendations for each stage of the pathway.
Please email all comments to CPOC@rcoa.ac.uk. The deadline for consultation comments is 23:59 26 June 2022.
Please note that the references and appendices are currently being finalised in parallel to this consultation so these remain in draft form in the attachment. At this stage we are seeking comments on the content of the guideline and recommendations.
National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSIPPs)
The Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC) has been tasked by the NHS National Director of Patient Safety at NHS England/Improvement with continuing refinement and development of the National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSIPPs).
CPOC brought together a multidisciplinary working group to draft the revision and we are pleased to let you know that the draft Guideline for National Safety Standards for Invasive Procedures (NatSSIPs) consultation is now open for comments.
Please see attached the draft guideline and consultation form, we ask kindly if you could please submit any comments to CPOC@roca.ac.uk by 17:00 Friday 08 July 2022.
