Updated CPOC Anaemia Guideline Published

Today CPOC has published the 2025 update of the Guideline for the Management of Anaemia in the Perioperative Pathway.

The guideline has been reviewed by our expert working group and updated to ensure it is in line with the most up to date guidance.

This CPOC perioperative anaemia guideline has been developed using a whole pathway approach. It contains recommendations for patients of all ages undergoing surgery and for health care professionals in both emergency and elective surgical settings and across specialties.
